Within the framework of ATA TALKS, a Summer Academy on “East Mediterranean & Energy” will be held in Istanbul on 01-04 September 2020.
The academy will focus on the geopolitical, economic and legal aspects of the increasing power struggle in the Eastern Mediterranean. Upon completion of the program, participants will be awarded a certificate.
In the trainings, the strategic importance of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Blue Homeland doctrine, the development of maritime trade, international ship management, natural gas / oil exploration and production processes, energy markets and security, and the international law aspect of the issue will be discussed.
Seminars will be given by ATA Platform Board members and other distinguished speakers who are experts in their fields. In addition to theoretical lectures, the program offers practical knowledge and invaluable networking opportunities with other participants.
Those who are interested in the subject from wide range of backgrounds (sector professionals, civil servants, journalists, academicians and graduate students) are welcome to apply. There will be no tuition-fee for accepted post-graduate students. The Selection Committee will evaluate applications and limited number of applicants will be accepted to the program. Admission decisions will be based on a combination of related working past, proven interest and academic merit
